Shark Tooth Adventure

The adventure begins with a boat ride in a pristine setting where you’ll likely see dolphins and other wildlife as we approach our destination. The fun continues as we arrive at the destination. Our guides lead you to shark teeth, fossils, and the occasional artifact left behind by Native Americans who lived and traded along the Carolina coast. (You may also find Civil War era relics.) Be prepared to go home with quite a few amazing treasures. We regularly find dozens of shark teeth on this tour, including Megalodon, Angustidens, and many others that are millions of years old!
Please note:
Requires the ability to walk at least four miles. Often we walk further, but each guest can choose to walk as much or as little as they like. Please keep in mind, the further you walk, the better your chance of finding more cool stuff!
This tour is child friendly, but each child is unique, so please take that into account. We have had children as young as 3 years old on this tour and they had a great time, but use your best judgment as you know your child and their capabilities.
The tour lasts approximately 5 to 6 hours.
Each tour time is scheduled by Captain Chuck to insure the best possibility of success. (We take tide, conditions, and weather into account.)

This tour starts at $150 per person, with a two (2) person minimum required for the tour to run. Singles are welcome, but please be sure to book on a day that already has at least 2 people already signed up. Up to six (6) guests may be on each tour. If you’d like to have a private tour, please reach out to us to arrange for your tour to be private.
Private tours are available with pricing based on number of guests.
Due to the nature of the tour, it may occasionally be necessary for the captain/guide to return to the boat to adjust anchorage for wind, weather, tides. This helps insure the boat remains safe. In such cases, we’ll make sure you are on your way to a successful hunt before we step away to tend to the boat.
